RCS Software Controller

Each RCS Software Controller is a task-based hierarchy of control modules that address the real-time requirements for each application. The design method of task decomposition is the same for all applications. This enables developers, technicians and operators of factory automation or machine control systems to see the control structure in a way that is understandable and to interact with all types of control in a consistent manner.

The Advanced Software Controllers execute these hierarchically structured control modules on Windows NT® with VenturCom RTX® real-time extensions which provides deterministic real-time execution for the control system.
